Art Therapist, MATh, AThR, Mindfulness Facilitator

I am an Art Therapist based in South Western Sydney—in the lands of the Darug Nation. I am passionate about helping others, and believe in the wisdom that comes from interconnection. I have been through my own struggles with mental health, and through that journey did I discover the power of art and creativity for healing. Art has always been my way of self expression, and has been a strategy for self regulation, reflection, and finding inner balance.

I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, helping others to use creativity to understand themselves, express their feelings, and find wholeness. I am also a trained mindfulness facilitator and life long practicioner of yoga. I am open to integrating these practices into sessions if wanted.

I believe in, and deeply value holding space for others to explore their feelings and express themselves in their own unique way, honing the ability within all of us to reconnect with our inner worlds, to find inner strength, and healing.

I identify as a culturally and linguistically diverse gay male person of colour. I acknowledge the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia especially those of the Cabrogal Clan in which I dwell.

What I offer

Individual art therapy sessions offer a safe space where you can express yourself freely. Through art, you can explore your feelings and experiences, where your creativity can help you understand and heal. In this one-on-one setting, you are supported as you create, discover, and grow. It is a peaceful, encouraging space that can help you feel more connected to yourself. Where art becomes a way to foster creativity and change.

Group (Coming Soon)

Group art therapy sessions offer a supportive space where you can connect with others. Through art, everyone can express themselves and share their experiences, helping each person feel understood and part of something bigger. Working together in a group can help you find strength in the collective journey, offering encouragement and kindness. Creating art with others can be a powerful way to heal, where everyone’s story matters.

In-person art therapy sessions provide a safe space where you can express your feelings in the presence of another human. In person sessions are facilitated via mobile service (I come to you). All art materials are provided for.

Online art therapy sessions give you a safe and private environment to express your feelings from the comfort of your own space. Even though we are not in the same room, you will still feel supported and understood. Online sessions are a modern alternative to offering art therapy and can be just as moving and powerful as in person. Online sessions are conducted over Zoom.

Mission

Sharing the Healing Power of Art and Creative Expression: I want to show others how powerful art can be in helping us heal. Whether it’s through drawing, painting, writing, or any other medium, creating something can help us work through tough emotions, let go of stress, and find clarity. The process of creating is just as important as the final piece—helping us release feelings and find healing along the way.

Promoting Self-Expression, Reflection, and Understanding: Art gives us a chance to express our feelings when it is hard to put them into words. I want to create a space where people can express themselves freely, without judgment, and reflect on their experiences. Through creativity, we can learn more about ourselves, accept all of our emotions, and see them as part of our journey toward healing.

Supporting Mental Health Through Creativity: Sometimes, mental health struggles can make us feel alone, but art can help us connect with ourselves and others. I want to show how art can be a tool to support mental health—helping us explore our feelings, build strength, and feel supported. My goal is to provide resources and activities that help reduce stress, increase emotional awareness, and bring more peace.

Encouraging Mindfulness in the Creative Process: I want to help people stay present and mindful while they create. Mindfulness means paying attention to the moment, and when we add that to our art, it becomes a powerful way to stay grounded and heal. Through creative expression, we can reconnect with ourselves, find balance, and become more aware of our emotions and thoughts.

Finding Wholeness Through Creativity: Healing is about finding wholeness—it is about bringing everything together: our emotions, thoughts, body, and spirit. Art helps us express all these parts of ourselves, leading to a more balanced and truthful life. My hope is that by helping others use their creativity to feel whole, they will experience more peace and unity within themselves.
